Meet Wild Flower
Meet another Garden Girl: Wildflower.
She is a definitive favorite of mine... and if you know me, you know I am a total lover of blues! There is just something about her that completely screams the Old South to me...
The most amazing thing about painting her was how she revealed herself. That structure you see in the background? It was just there on the canvas. I didn't have to embellish or force that old antebellum home place at all—it was just waiting to be uncovered amidst all those mossy, dripping layers that feel just like old mossy oak trees surrounding a hidden estate.
She brings this beautiful, serene sense of 'ease & calm' into a room, while carrying a deep, soulful history beneath her surface..
