Raised in Deer Park, Texas, just a short distance from the coast, the artist’s deepest creative rhythms were forged during a lifetime connected to the history and the warm waters of the gulf.

The island’s pull remained unbroken into her adulthood. She eventually moved to Galveston for six years, living in a beautiful, historic old home just a few blocks from the water …a joyful, full-circle prelude to her artistic lineage.

Today, creating from her studio in the historic town of Weston, Missouri, she translates these profound reservoirs of love, memory, and gratitude into monumental visual sanctuaries.

Beginning a dedicated studio practice in 2011, the work immediately garnered institutional attention, culminating in a selection for the prestigious juried exhibition The Big Show at Lawndale Art Center in Houston in 2014. This early validation set the stage for an expansive career rooted in organic flow. Shortly thereafter, global architecture firm HKS (Houston Studio, led by Franne Stewart) and Arch Design Consulting sought a Texas-rooted artist capable of creating authentic healing art for a landmark facility.

The resulting permanent public installation at the Dan L. Duncan Baylor St. Luke’s Comprehensive Cancer Center, Houston, TX, titled Beauty Everlasting, was painted in profound honor of the artist's mother. It stands as a masterwork of luminous, life-affirming flow, offering daily sensory restoration to patients, families, and caregivers alike.

Following a deliberate seven-year season dedicated to family caregiving and anchoring her loved ones through life’s most profound transitions, the artist continuously returned to the canvas. Painting remained her ultimate sanctuary—a private space of personal healing and emotional restoration. It is this unbroken, deeply personal relationship with the canvas that has granted her an even more profound, unshakeable reservoir of clarity.

Today, working from a deep internal space in the Kansas City region, (tiny motown!) her grand-scale abstract originals reside in elite private collections across Maui and the mainland. Each piece stands as an architectural anchor—not merely decorating a wall, but creating a breathing, living sanctuary of grounded light for modern spaces.
