“Welcome to a space of quiet reflection. My work is guided by deep intuition and a lifelong calling to create beauty inspired by nature. I create large-scale paintings for homes, public spaces, and permanent healthcare installations that serve as visual sanctuaries, offering a peaceful harbor whenever your spirit needs it most.”
"This is an ‘oldie, but goodie’ of me and my youngest grandson hanging out in my old studio! I love what I do…especially when I can weave my family into the ebb and flow of my real day~to~day world.”
Welcome! I am so incredibly happy you are here. This space is a collection of my heart, a glimpse into what my world really looks and feels like. My paintings are never born from a photograph; instead, they are humble renditions of 'seeing what I see'—woven entirely from feelings, deep memories, and even mystical places. Every canvas carries its own timeline and a quiet destiny that cannot be rushed. My creative process is one of slow discovery, a beautiful dance between spontaneous energy and deliberate vision.
In my studio, the tools carry as much soul as the paint itself. Most of my pieces are layered with a rich blend of fluid acrylic inks, luminous glazes, luscious water-soluble crayons, and unique vine charcoal sticks that my husband hand-bakes for me in an old coffee can over our rock firepit.
Whether tacking a massive canvas to a kitchen wall in a turn-of-the-century home full of window light, or working with my fingers to bring a textured horizon to life, I create to find a sense of calm, acceptance, and joy.
As you wander through these pages, I invite you to pull up a chair, wrap yourself in a cozy blanket, and look deeply into these dreamscapes. I hope they offer you a portal to escape into, a sanctuary of color, and a place where you can feel entirely at home. Thank you for sharing in this creative journey with me.
“And, this is me, now…in my usual car selfie ‘ubering’ my three adorable ‘bonus’ kids to and fro in our sweet, historical tiny 'motown'!”…nice to meet you!
